Ubud, Bali
Stranded in the rain for about an hour - I was berating myself for riding a bike instead of taking a bemo, for wasting half a day, for just being 'touristy'; until a hospitable shopkeeper took me in, his wife offered me coffee and lontong (Bali Style)... and their Ibu took me to the village pura, set in the middle of lush paddy fields as far as the eye can see.
It was almost dusk, and the scene before me was so breathtaking - my heart was bursting with awe at the beauty and magic of the moment... and so humbled by the hospitality and kindness of the people...
Well, i'll do a proper update soon. Ubud was good.
